What is a Soiree???

A "Soiree", simply described, is a hosted, OPEN HOUSE-style home party (similar in function to a Tupperware or PartyLite party).  It is the BEST "small venue" to see and purchase Tallulah Twinkletoes merchandise in person, have questions answered and make custom orders.



Okay, so I WAS INVITED TO ONE OF THESE SOIREE THINGS... WHAT DO I DO?

Come to the show for heaven's sake! BUT- get there EARLY! Even though the custom order options are truly limitless- the merchandise goes fast- often the best pieces go in the first hour! To get the full picture of what Tallulah has to offer, come at the beginning to see all the goods.  The Soiree is an "Open House". There isn't a presentation, you can peruse the merchandise at your leisure, and I will be available to answer questions or write-up custom orders. Purchases can be made with cash or checks.

HOW DO I HOST A SOIREE?

First, contact me and we will plan a date that works (I can schedule one per week). Compile a list of folks you'd like to invite. Then, I will provide you with personalized postcards to send out ten days before the event. On the day of the Soiree, I will arrive early to set up my displays, you provide the treats, and let the fun begin! I will provide a door prize and other fun incentives (coupons or promos) for shoppers. Guests can purchase and take ready-made items from the displays or prepay for custom orders that I will deliver to your home for redistribution within seven business days*.
When sales are totalled, you will earn a 20% merchandise credit (for free Tallulah Goodies!) for the total amount sold. (For instance, $400 in sales would earn an $80 credit! Woo-Hoo!!!)


Okay, So HOW DO I HOST A SUCCESSFUL SOIREE?

My best advice for hosting a successful soiree is all in the planning. Pick a date that doesn't conflict with holidays, popular date-nights, school functions, etc. Include everyone in your contact list that has a girl, a niece, a granddaughter, etc. Include moms from school, PTA, sports/dance programs, friends, family, lots of Grandmas! Send postcards ten days before the event. Send an email reminder, post on your Facebook wall, Twitter account, and/or make reminder phonecalls. Encourage guests who are unable to attend but want to shop to order by contacting me- the Soiree will officially "close" a few days afterward, so residual sales can be included in your sales/credit total.

Soirees are truly my favorite part of what I do- I love getting to know new people, sharing my vision with them and helping them to outfit the little girls they love in something girly and fun!

*this depends largely upon the time of year and what my other committments are. Sometimes custom orders can be completed sooner, sometimes later. Generally speaking, allow 5-7 working days for orders to be ready for delivery.
