Tallulah Bebe!
I've wanted one of these for a long time. Not a baby, silly. (I have five of those...). A beautiful, simple picture of a newborn in her birthday suit and a Tallulah Headband. And of course, I have Jennifer Tibbetts of Jennifer Tibbetts Photography to thank for it! Thanks so much Jennifer! You have such a gift!

Hooray for SPRING!
SPRING! YAY! We have "enjoyed" a particularly wet, gray winter here in WA, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I'm ready for Spring. REALLY ready. Saturday was lovely here- sunny and nearly 70, and yet, we're back to the rain again. Oh please, PLEASE can we have a summer this year?
Ok, I digress..
So, because I've been so pro-Spring around here, I've been so inspired by its fantastic colors and sights - it's affecting all aspects of Tallulahville. Not just the headbands below, but my penchant for all things light and airy has rubbed off on my decorating as well (but that's for another day...)
Who wouldn't be inspired by these colors??
spring green and pink, an old standby...

I made a collection of these bows for a wedding this month- they were for four little flower girls- the bride and groom are Sounders ticket owners- they had navy/white polka dots and pops of apple green everywhere. VERY fun. (More on the bride in a bit...)

my very favorite color - AQUA! Cute for a birthday bow (would be SO cute with a matching tutu!)
I love this fantastic new ribbon- pink and cream stripes...

...and this cupcake bow is girliness personified.

Let's not forget the newborns- white infant beanie with marabou/button detail

I'm sure you've seen this bow in prior posts- but I LOVE it on this bonnet...
It was time to try my luck with some new wool felt flowers- I love the vintage look of this mum on this bonnet

and this cabbage rose in navy with pearl center...
or in cream...

CORAL is so big this year- here is my ode to coral in the form of a large peony

NEW wool felt flowers on clips or headbands- love this blue/yellow combo-

or peach/taupe

I love this blue gardenia paired with the yellow flower...

or this peach one...

and the yellowy-cream simplicity of this flower (yet unnamed...) on the aqua

the new wool felt-y girls...
I love these fun covered headbands with flowers too- again with the pink/green... love that...

Tacoma Recap...
PHEW. The Dome show is over. And now it's recovery time- time to reclaim my house, get back in charge of school work, dance/soccer, and get back into the daily grind. All in all, the dome was successful- definitely a learning experience- difficult as it was, it's one I'm grateful to have had.
New shows are always interesting- I learn so much from each one. I've learned a much greater respect and appreciation for vendors who, like me, spend countless hours preparing a HANDMADE product. I've been reminded why I love doing shows- it's fantastic to meet new people- and so affirming to have folks really love the product you work so hard to produce. My fellow vendors were great- it was kind of like Summer Camp- we all said goodbye at the end, and hoped to see each other again... Funny.
I am so thankful for all the friends- old and new- who have supported me in this venture ("TallulahPhiles" :)- the painters, headband taper-ers, glue-ers, sewers, Cricut cutters, organizers, booth workers, babysitters, creative pricers (you know who you are! :) adult conversation providers, sounding boards, and many many more. I am so grateful for your friendship and love and am a better (and MUCH SANER) person because of each of you! Rewards are coming your way, promise!!
Now, a little eye candy-
This is baby Abby Mae. She's six weeks old. She wears Tallulah- even when she's not wearing anything else... :) She's gorgeous. She's one of my Tacoma Dome discoveries. Thanks, Jessica, for sharing her with me!! Have a beautiful babe and a delicious Tallulah Product??? Send me a picture and I'll put it up!!! tallulahtwinkletoes@gmail.com

So on we go!!! Next stop, Kent Senior Center Holiday Market, Friday November 5th- Saturday, November 6th! Come see all the new holiday goodies and fabulous flowers! Yay Yay!!
Also, you can now find Tallulah Twinkletoes products at :Ideal Jewelry and Accessories (Queen's Gate Village, 1950 Keene Rd. Suite Q1, Richland, WA)

Smelling the Roses...
I am a Shabby Chic girl at heart. I admit it. I totally own my shabby-ness. If it's old or it looks old- I want it. I have often said I was born in the wrong time, but that's for another day... I've wanted to learn to make lovely fabric roses for a while now- I've tinkered with it a bit- but I think I have it figured out. That being said, here are a few new fabulous HEADBANDS I've been playing around with...

Mmmmm...
Want to see them in person?? Check out these new headbands and all the fun, Autumnal, Halloweeny-Goodness at my next Soiree-
October 20-24th at the Tacoma Dome
Yep. I am officially consumed by preparation. The festival is FIVE days long. That is more than TWICE as long as the longest festival I've done. That means I need lots of STUFF. My little fingers are working as fast as they can to get ready- and my brain is continually processing how to make my booth look Christmassy, and how much stuff I need, who's gonna watch the Jonesies, and all that good stuff. I am SO excited to participate in a real, professional show- and SO overwhelmed... I know it will be fabulous.
I am SO excited about these. I want to wear them. All of them. Probably at the same time. This may prove problematic, since most of these are made for little (even TINY) heads... but still. They're gorgeous. And sorry if that's bragging. But, they are.
I mean, how lovely would this be in one of those darling naked newborn photos? Or attach the flowers to a comb for a fantastic wedding hairpiece? Yeah, I know. Don't those flowers look real?
Or this little cutie with a white dress for a baby blessing/christening/dedication?
See the little pop of veiling underneath?
Of course, it's no secret that I love my feathers...
Mmmmm...
"HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY, TALLULAH" Soiree

Dear Prom-going boys, Please do not get your dates giant, doily-laden , baby's breath smothered corsages. We want them petite and lovely, so as not to compete with the gorgeous ensemble we've spent hours putting together. Thank you.
Love, Your Prom Date. :)
