Ah... SPRING...

First of all, THANKS to all that participated in Candi's Soiree the other night in Auburn. It was a lot of FUN and I loved getting to meet and greet you all! Thanks for your support!

I am LOVING this fake Spring thing we seem to have going on in Washington. Truly, I can't think of another place that has anything on Springtime in WA. (Okay, I'm sure they exist, but go with me here...) I find spring to be a very inspirational time of year for my creativity. But who wouldn't be totally inspired by these colors?

Mmmmmm....

So Spring brings to mind BIRDS. Birds make me think of FEATHERS... and of course, feathers make me want to make really over-the-top, fabulous Tallulah BEANIES. (Really, it's a natural progression...) I learned that the yummy feathery hairpieces displayed below are called "fascinators". I kind of love them. I think I want to make them all the time. How fantastic would one of these flapper-y hairpieces (attached to the beanies) look for prom with a fabulous little black dress? Or for a night out on the town with your favorite doll-up outfit?! I know it!!!

a little closer-up... Pink marabou, tulle flowers, ribbon, ric-rac, kitchen sink...

Like my pal Martha S., I love a good ranunculus. And so does Tallulah.

Of course, we can't deny the littlest of the littles the fantastic springy goodness...

...infant beanies with hydrangeas and, of course, feathers...
Come see it all at a Tallulah Soiree near you!!! Crystal Bergman's Sweet Spring Soiree, for those in and around Bonney Lake- Thursday, March 18th ! Mark those calendars!!!
